Auld Lang Syne
"Times gone by"
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And days of auld lang syne?
Chorus.-For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For days of auld lang syne.
Auld lang syne means "times gone by"
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And days of auld lang syne?
Chorus.-For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For days of auld lang syne.
Auld lang syne means "times gone by"
So we we'll drink a cup of kindness yet for times gone by.

May you have a Happy New Year,
and may you have friends such as we are fortunate to have.
and may you have friends such as we are fortunate to have.
Happy New Year, Roy and Christine! It's been such a while since we chatted. Seems you have been burning up the miles by air, instead of by bicycle these days. I can more easily relate to these posts. I am older and more arthritic these days. Bikes and I have seen better days. Travelling by boat, air, rail is more in my style now.
ReplyDeleteBlessings as we face a new year and many more opportunities to celebrate life,
Rosemary
